Integrated medical systems are usually based on accurate sensors, precise actuators and smart controllers.
We do full-cycle design. Starting from motor and sensor selection, through programming the controllers, up to and including the testing of the overall system.
We start the design with demo systems (usually Arduino) that enable us to work fast and flexible.
Micro Assembly
The interaction between product parts is a skill . We always test the parts hands-on and assemble them in our lab. We believe that we must get familiar with our prototypes before we set an assembly process.
Our lab is equiped with microscops, manipulation tools,mechanical jigs and adhesives.
In many cases , we design and build our own assembly tools.Injection Molding
Many disposable medical products comprise plastic components.
We design single use products to fit plastic injection molding and medical grade resins .We work together with excellent contractors from mold design via T0 to mass production in a cleanroom.Diamond turning & Machining
Machining is an excellent way to produce accurate parts fast. We design our parts according to the machining constraints and available materials.We supply mechanical drawigns according to ISO 13485 requirments .
We work with excellent contact lens and IOL manufacturers for diamond turning, lathing, accurate milling, polishing and quality inspection.
Silicone Molding
We design medical products that utilize the properties of Silicone: Implants, Lenses ,Seals and components.
Our designs take into consideration the production process and molding constraints.
We design and produce the molds, test them and manufacture the prototpypes in house.
Plenty of medical grade and ophthalmic grade silicone materials are available in our lab.Packaging
We consider packading as part of the product. Our packages are designed to fit the planned sterilization method, regulatory requirements, ergonomics and user needs.
We design blister packs, lens holders , carton boxes and plastic cases.
Usually, we take part in designing and excuting the V&V tests for our packages as well.Glass
Glass is used in medical devices when there are special requirements.
We are experienced in the design of glass implants and prototypes according to the leading production proccess.
Our contractors can manipolate glass with blowing,laser cuting, laser etching,laser welding, bending and connecting.3D Printing
Many of our products start as 3D printed prototypes.
We use our 3d printer on a daily basis to get the right intuition for our work.
We are up to date with the new materials and working with the leading print-shops.
Design for 3D printing requires special consideration and good understanding in order to move quickly to standard production proccesses.
